Format

Teams will be flighted into pools based on the number of teams accepted in each age group.  Teams are guaranteed four (4) games.  In the event of a tie in a division, tiebreaker rules will be applied.

Patches

All teams are encouraged to participate in a patch exchange after each match.

Awards

Except as noted below, teams will receive awards for 1st and 2nd place.

NJYSA/USYSA Special U10 and Under Rules

The Hazlet Columbus Day Classic will follow the rule set forth by NJYSA which requires that all teams U10 and younger play in a non-result oriented format.  Therefore, all U10 and younger teams will receive participatio nawards only and no standings will be kept.

Fields

Tournament games will be played at the Hazlet United Soccer Complex and at Raritan High School, Hazlet, NJ

Referees

Only certified referees will be used and a 3-referee system will be used for all games where feasible.

Concessions

Food and merchandise will be available at each of the field locations.

Hazlet is located at the northern part of the Jersey Shore and is less than 45 minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure.
