The College Bound Showcase has established a tradition of excellent players competing before influential college coaches and recruiters. The Showcase was the first girls only tournament of this sort on the East Coast.
Last year, during our 18th annual Showcase, over 100 institutions were represented by recruiters or coaches as over 400 girls from 29 teams played in a showcase format. More than 200 coaches have been invited to the tournament with special emphasis on Eastern Schools.
A Boys Showcase Tournament will be in Brick on the same weekend and encourages college coaches to attend both tournaments. For more information go to njcollegeshowcase.com !
This year we will have host a College Financial Aid and Athletic Scholarship Presentation
Hazlet United Soccer Association is pleased to offer a presentation on College Financial Aid and Athletic Scholarships. This presentation is open to all coaches and parents in attendance at this year’s Collegebound Showcase Tournament.
Our guest speaker will be Harvey Meldrum. In addition to his responsibilities as an Assistant Coach, for the past 10 seasons, for Monmouth University Women’s Soccer, Harvey is the owner and founder of Meldrum Financial in Spring Lake, NJ. Since 1990, Harvey has helped over 1000 families with the difficult task of funding a college education.
